Research Dose Calculators
Calculate Research Concentration and Volume
Our Research Compound Calculators provide theoretical Laboratory calculations for peptide and research compound reconstitution.
Simply enter the vial contents, the volume of reconstitution solution added, and the required research amount to calculate:
- Research compound concentration;
- Required volume (ml)
- Equivalent U-1-- syringe units
- Equivalent insulin pen clicks (0.01 ml per click)
- The calculation equation for verification
AMINO BOUND
Research Compound Calculator
Enter the total amount of research compound, the volume of bacteriostatic water added, and the required research amount to calculate the theoretical volume and syringe units.
Calculated Results
How to Use the Calculator
1. Enter the total compound amount
Enter the amount of compound contained within the vial, such as 5 mg.
2. Enter the volume of solvent added
Enter the amount of bacteriostatic water or other suitable solvent added in millilitres (ml).
3. Enter the required research amount
Enter the theoretical amount required for the intended laboratory research calculation in either mg or mcg.
4. Select “Calculate”
The calculator will display the theoretical concentration, calculated volume, and equivalent U-100 syringe units.
Example Calculation
For example:
5mg of compound + 2 ml bac water
This produces a theoretical concentration of:
2.5 mg/ml
If the required research amount is:
250 mcg (0.25 mg)
The calculated volume is:
0.1 ml
On a U-100 syringe scale, this is equivalent to:
10 units
The calculator also displays the equation used to reach the result, allowing the calculation to be reviewed and independently checked.
Amino Bound
Research Pen Click Calculator
Calculate the theoretical number of whole pen clicks required using a fixed volume of 0.01 mL per click.
Enter calculation details
Research calculation only: This calculator assumes that each click dispenses exactly 0.01 mL and rounds fractional results upward to the next whole click. Pen mechanisms and click volumes may vary between devices, so the actual device calibration must be independently confirmed. Rounding upward increases the delivered volume and calculated amount. This tool does not provide human or veterinary dosage or administration advice.
How to Use the Pen Calculator
1. Enter the total compound amount
Enter the amount of research compound contained within the vial, such as 10 mg.
2. Enter the volume of solvent added
Enter the amount of bacteriostatic water or other suitable solvent added in millilitres (ml).
3. Enter the required research amount
Enter the theoretical research amount required for your intended laboratory calculation in either mg or mcg.
4. Select “Calculate Clicks”
The calculator will display the theoretical concentration, calculated volume, exact pen clicks, rounded up to the nearest click based on a pen calibration of 0.01ml per click.
Example Calculation
10mg of compound + 2 ml bac water
This produces a theoretical concentration of:
5 mg/ml
If the required research amount is:
250 mcg (0.25 mg)
The calculated volume is:
0.05 ml
At a calibration of 0.01 ml per click is equivalent to:
5 clicks
The calculator also displays the calculation used to reach the result, allowing the calculation to be reviewed and independently checked.
